I have Multiple Sclerosis
I was diagnosed in August 1998 after having suffered with a number
of symptoms for 15 - 20 years that can probably be attributed to the MonSter.
My main symptoms are:
- Fatigue - for no apparent reason and also due to physical or mental exertion
- Short attention span
- Confusion
- Vertigo - dizziness, nausea, loss of ballance and the world spinning
- Eye pain, visual disturbances, temporary blindness and migraine like episodes
- Depression
- Heat intollerance
- Often slow to understand
- Random "stabbing" pains
- Occasional hot / red / swolen feet and legs
- Muscle spasms
- Occasional bladder problems
I have been (wrongly) diagnosed with many other disorders / diseases
in the past, including:
- Benign Positional Vertigo
- Glandular Fever (despite a negative blood test)
- Clinical Depression
- Meniere's Disease
