I can't eat (food intolerances - I get ill but not anaphylactic): - dairy / milk (from any mammal) - e.g. lactose, milk solids, whey powder, etc. (n.b. eggs are not dairy despite what many supermarkets think) ;-p - wheat - flour etc. I am OK with other grains like buckwheat, corn, oats, rye and barley. - chilli - this is the closest I get to a violent allergy. - tomato skins and seeds (passata is fine because it is strained). - citrus fruit. - onion (small quantities of finely chopped and well cooked shallot are OK and I get away with spring onions, cooked or raw). - alcohol. (*boo hiss*) I am NOT vegetarian or vegan. I LOVE meat. ;-p Something like steak and chips or a mixed grill is perfect - just no breaded onion rings and fried tomatoes. ;-p No butter or marg (most contain some butter) on tatties or veggies, please. Any chocolate (which I adore) needs to be 100% dairy free (you would be surprised how many plain chocolates contain buttermilk). Any soup, gravy or sauces need to be dairy and wheat free - cornflour to thicken is OK. I have had to become fluent in reading ingredients lists...
